H.E. Vuk Jeremić (MPA/ID 2003), Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, addressed the Harvard community at a lecture event held on 17 February 2011 at the Harvard Kennedy School. In his lecture, entitled Serbia and the Democratic Transformation of the Balkans, the foreign minister stated that Serbia is committed to reaching a compromise over the Kosovo issue. According to the minister, only a mutually acceptable, comprehensive solution can ensure peace and stability in the region. Such a solution will also secure the democratic transformation of the Balkans. The event was co-sponsored with the Harvard GSAS Serbian Cultural Club.
