Kokkalis Foundation supported the Green Institute in order to strengthen its operation and develop its activities. The Institute has a significant contribution in the field of political ecology, with key themes such as energy, sustainable agriculture, tackling climate change, the rights of non-human beings, citizen participation in democratic processes, housing policy, contemporary forms of activism, peace in the Balkans and Eastern Europe and more, while also building an audience for the promotion of Green policies in Greece.
