Kokkalis Foundation supported the Special Primary School of Chios through the funding of a therapy bed, for students with special educational needs.
The Special Primary School of Chios began its operation in 1996, whereas the operation of the Special Kindergarten followed in 2001. The school is comprised of specialized educational and scientific staff, who aim to offer students the necessary resources to develop their abilities to the maximum extent and become autonomous. Speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychological intervention, support and empowerment sessions are also held.
